The approximately 900 students are in the company of approximately 25 professors and approximately 200 research associates in teaching positions (as of July 2018). This means you aren’t lost in the masses in lectures and exercises and theses are individually supervised.

Culture in Magdeburg

Magdeburg has numerous buildings, monuments and sculptures that give you an idea of a moving history, including the Magdeburg Cathedral and the green citadel by the famous architect Hundertwasser. In the areas of music and history, the Magdeburg Opera House and the unique Millennium Tower are worthy of mention, which illustrate the development of the sciences with many experiments.

Sport in Magdeburg

Who would like to switch off from learning a little, can register in one of the numerous sport clubs of the city, where surely for everyone what is present, would be here among other things mentionable the 1.FC Magdeburg which is very successful in football.
